Emails received by virtual mailboxes are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after their expiration date. API access logs may be retained for operational monitoring and abuse prevention. These logs are not cross-referenced with any other data source and are not used for profiling or marketing purposes.

You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

API & Fair Use

MAIL2REST provides a free REST API for creating virtual email addresses and reading received emails. The API is provided free of charge for reasonable, non-abusive use. Automated mass querying, scraping, or any use that degrades service availability for other users is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to rate-limit or block any client that violates this fair use policy, without prior notice. The API is provided "as is" with no guarantee of availability or uptime.

Limitation of Liability

The information provided on this website and through its API is for informational purposes only. Cognitys makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the data processed. In no event shall Cognitys be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this service. Virtual email addresses are temporary by nature and should not be used as permanent communication channels.

The MAIL2REST name, logo, design, and source code are the exclusive property of Cognitys. Any reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written authorization is prohibited.
